Here to all the deaf people Learning how to draw can be a lot of fun, and there are several steps you can take to get started. Whether you're drawing for fun or developing more advanced skills, here’s a simple guide to help you get started:

### **Step-by-Step Guide to Drawing:**

---

### **1. Gather Materials:**
You don’t need fancy equipment to start drawing. Here’s a simple list of things you’ll need:
- **Pencils:** Start with a basic pencil (2B or HB is good).
- **Eraser:** A regular eraser or a kneaded eraser (to gently lift graphite) is helpful.
- **Paper:** Any blank paper will work, but sketchbooks are best for keeping your work organized.
- **Sharpener:** Keep your pencils sharp for better control.

---

### **2. Start with Basic Shapes:**
Almost everything you draw can be broken down into simple shapes like circles, squares, and triangles. These are the building blocks of more complex drawings.

- **Circle** for heads, balls, or eyes.
- **Oval** for things like faces or leaves.
- **Square/Rectangle** for buildings, tables, or books.
- **Triangles** for trees, rooftops, or mountain shapes.

#### *Try this exercise:*
Draw a series of different shapes (circle, square, triangle) in different sizes. This will help you get used to the pencil and control.

---

### **3. Learn Proportions:**
Understanding proportions is important for creating balanced and realistic drawings. For example, in human figures:
- The head is about 1/8th of the body’s total height.
- The hands are roughly the length of the head.

#### *Practice Exercise:*
Draw a basic human figure by starting with a simple oval for the head, followed by rectangles for the torso and limbs. Try to keep the proportions similar to the real world.

---

### **4. Start Simple Objects:**
Instead of diving into complicated objects, start with easy things around you:
- **A mug**
- **A fruit (like an apple or banana)**
- **A simple plant or flower**

This gives you practice with basic shapes, and you can build on your skills step by step.

---

### **5. Add Details:**
Once you have the basic shapes down, you can begin adding details. For example:
- **Eyes**: Break the eye into a basic oval, then add the iris, pupil, and lashes.
- **Textures**: Practice shading to add depth to your drawing. Use your pencil to create light and dark areas, making your drawing look more three-dimensional.

#### *Exercise for shading:*
Take a simple object, like a ball, and practice shading it from light to dark. Use gentle strokes and vary the pressure to create a gradient effect.

---

### **6. Learn to Use Light and Shadow:**
The key to making your drawing look more realistic is learning how light affects objects. Notice how the light source creates shadows on your subject. Shadows add depth and make objects look three-dimensional.

- **Highlight:** The part of the object that’s closest to the light source.
- **Shadow:** The areas that are further away from the light or blocked from it.
- **Midtones:** The areas in between the highlight and shadow.

#### *Exercise:*
Draw a ball and imagine a light source coming from one direction. Shade the opposite side darker, and leave the part closest to the light lighter.

---

### **7. Practice, Practice, Practice!**
The key to getting better at drawing is regular practice. Don’t worry about making mistakes. Every time you draw, you’re learning and improving. You’ll get better over time!

#### *Practice ideas:*
- Try drawing something you see around the house.
- Copy photos of objects or people to practice realism.
- Draw from your imagination to develop creativity.

---

### **8. Experiment and Have Fun:**
As you get more comfortable with basic drawing, try experimenting with different styles:
- **Cartoon** or **anime style** drawings.
- **Realistic** sketches with shading and details.
- **Abstract** or **expressionist** art using shapes and colors in different ways.

You can also experiment with other tools like colored pencils, markers, or even digital drawing if you’re feeling adventurous.

---

### **Quick Exercise to Try:**
**Step 1:** Draw a simple circle.
**Step 2:** Add a small oval inside it for the eye.
**Step 3:** Draw two curved lines above the circle for eyebrows.
**Step 4:** Add a tiny smile below the circle.
**Step 5:** Shade in the eye.
Now you have a simple, expressive face!

---

### **Final Thoughts:**
Drawing is a skill that improves with time and practice. Be patient with yourself, and don't be afraid to experiment. If you're feeling stuck, try drawing daily for a few minutes—this consistency will lead to growth. And most importantly, have fun with it!

Let me know if you need more tips on a specific technique or want more practice exercises!

Hey!! Can u make a tutorial for this?

So I'm relatively a beginner when it comes to OCs and the problem is that my character's face (/features) don't match when I draw him from different angles.

Like he looks different from front n then different from 3/4th angle And different from the side angle.

That's were I'm stuck at. Since I don't have reference of how his 3/4th profile will look like, I can't start drawing him in more other poses/ scenarios😅

Do u knw any tricks/tips to match the features from different angles?
