What a legend Squirtle is! Finishes PCT and essentially jumps straight into trail magic 👏👏👏

The mischievous looks from Nick in the beginning were adorable! This 78 yrs. old grandma has fallen in love with you both. You are so positive throughout...I think this video was so honest, not complaining about the conditions, just honest. You are such a great role model, Mari...I am so blessed to have found your blogs...look forward to seeing where the future takes you and Nick. Be well and safe...God bless you both🥰

Just binge watched ALL of your PCT vlogs over 3 days and I am convinced that your trail name should have been Treat for all the times you say "What a treat!" :)
Can't wait to see the rest of the footage!

been watching your videos from Canada during lockdown, getting excited to do something similar. I'm 31 and have 3 sons. Dying to hit the trails this summer even just for a little while. You really have me inspired to do this trail someday!

Thank you for your posts of this beautiful footage. Each time I watch your posts it takes me away from what’s going on today. Looking forward to watching the remainder of your trip. Thank you for your hard work putting these together..

Mari I think you are a saving grace..not to mention superhuman! My admiration for you knows no end. There are days when..due to the current state of the world..the anxiety boils over. Watching these videos helps stem that tide. I cannot get over the scenery throughout your journey. Thanks so much for providing a needed escape for us. Love the map you include at the end :)

Been loving the more slowed down pace of these, and always appreciate the music. Was supposed to start my NOBO 2 weeks from now, so this has been a bittersweet thing to watch. Welp, there's always next summer!

It's 2025, enjoying your adventure! A tip on a bee or wasp bite, I stepped on an underground nest.... Use tape or bandaid or anything to keep a copper penny over the bite. So simple, and there's science behind why it works. 😊. Make it Singing In The Rain!

Lovely to get out in the Washington forest vicariously and smell those pines. A restful Easter all round and some great weather in the Waikato. Even this morning's rain was exciting after the big dry! I hope you were able to replace those gloves. Possum and merino is the best. Happy lockdown.

Your vlog is a bright spot in all this sadness. I was really busy planning my 2022 PTC hike.. then covid19 smashed the pause button on life... it's so great to reconnect to the hiker would through you and others.
Thank you.♥️

Great video in a series of great videos. Those two quick shots of Nick in his Frogg Toggs as your breaking camp were spectacular (5 minute mark or so). Thanks for the videos. They are keeping me sane after Covid cancelled my PCT thru. Thanks again

Oh my, I'm so excited you are so close. Rainy Washington, hike this area November 2018, no snow, but very cold crazy hard rain. But beautiful.

Every time I watch your videos of the trail, it makes me want to just get out and go backpacking... but then I remember we’re on isolation lol

Well, I guess your iPad crapped out for a reason none of us could see coming. Thanks so much for making our lockdown better.
