The little doggy door closet turned out to be a fabulous place! The color is devine and THAT Hall It does look like it's built in and has always been there!

The quality of light changes EVERYTHING. Getting rid of that 'red' reflection from the neighbor's house made such a huge difference! Now, the colors and textures just dance together like Fred and Ginger - perfect!

I’m terrified of making a bad design choice. So I always appreciate when you are honest about changing your mind about paint colors.

The stress I would feel if my neighbours exterior paint had such a big impact on the inside of my house 😫. You Drew, just power through it and find solutions. This space came out amazing.

Truly, in my opinion, this is one of your finest efforts. It is so welcoming and interesting. Winston definitely has the most sophisticated dog door on the planet!!

Love that you display the older flowers. Reminds me of some of the Dutch masters who displayed aging flowers to remind us of the passage of time. Good eye Drew!

Drew I'm so glad you didn't use that dark color as the hall was dark to begin with. It looks so nice now. I just love your home with all it's little door ways & nooks. Such a beautiful find & you're doing a wonderful job of keeping some of her original beauty. ❤❤

The red-painted house would drive me crazy, especially considering how you’re redesigning and painting spaces that depend on natural light dictating final decisions. But, you managing this by adding the green window cover helped me understand color theory better. Bravo!! Beautiful work by both of you. I love how well you work together, too.

Drew you are the first vlogger I have seen to change something if it isn’t working and I appreciate that so much! It has helped me to not be so afraid of trying something new. Beautiful makeover as always

Drew, those orange colored flowers that you used in your floral arrangement are named Milkweed. Monarch butterflies lay their eggs on them. The caterpillars are bright green, they start out very tiny and grow to over an inch. They survive by eating the leaves and you will see full grown Monarchs sipping the nectar. They will eventually get raggedy looking as the caterpillars feed on plant and all the blooms will be eaten too. You’ll just cut the plant back and it will grow again for the next batch of Monarch caterpillars. It’s so cool to see the way they make Pupa, it’s pale green with golden spots on it. This is where the larva will reside until it emerges.
