The Bat is an American mystery film from 1959 starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead. It is the fourth film adaption of the story, which began as the 1908 novel The Circular Staircase by Mary Roberts Rinehart, which she later adapted with Avery Hopwood into the 1920 play The Bat.

this is simply a DELIGHTFUL little movie. Vincent price is wonderful and agnes moorehead is about the most underrated actor in Hollywood history. she was in citizen kane and co-starred with bogie and bacall in a film called dark passage. she's just excellent in any role I've ever seen her in. the bat may not be the greatest movie of all time but it is well crafted and just loads of fun. and catch moorehead's exit line. thanks for the film.
