The Los Angeles Lakers were heavily criticized over the offseason for many reasons. The Lakers hired NBA veteran JJ Reddick to become head coach after having a podcast with LeBron James, despite not having any coaching experience. The Lakers also made zero changes to their roster when everybody said they need to make trades. Both of those decisions are working out (so far) and it's caused them to look like a brand new team.
