Fun fact: Mercury is the second-densest planet in the solar system after Earth. This is because she has a very high proportion of iron in her core (given the tomboy look, I’d interpret that as rock-hard abs lol) so she’s actually very heavy for her petite size! Speaking of her size, she’s actually *smaller* than she used to be. There are little cliffs, cracks, and lines on her crust that show that the planet has slowly contracted over time as it’s cooled down (stretch marks from losing weight, I suppose.) It’s strange to think about, but there are two moons in the solar system that are bigger than her, though not as heavy: Ganymede, the biggest of Jupiter’s Galilean moons, and Titan, the hazy, thick-atmosphered moon of Saturn (could be kinda funny to turn Titan into a stoner/vape girl character, now that I think of it.)
