I was feeding Raised Right Pork Pumpkin Pate for years. My 13 yr old Yorkie was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I was thrilled that they make this. Mico has been on this 1 month. What a difference he has more energy and is more focused. His tummy doesn’t make noise and he loves food too. THANK YOU DR. JUDY FOR EDUCATING ME ABOUT RAISED RIGHT AND THANK YOU RAISED RIGHT💕💕💕💕

I think this is a great food but my dogs who are not picky eaters at all but the spearmint sadly turned them right off and wouldn't eat it 😞

I went to a holistic vet and I let them know that I was feeding raised right and small batch. I rotate between the two. they were questioning where their proteins were sourced and if they were organic... So I contacted raised right.

My question: are the ingredients grass-fed, organic or free range when it comes to the proteins? I saw? For example the organic spearmint Is labeled as such but not the rest of the ingredients.

RR reply: While there are a couple of ingredients in our recipes that we can make the organic claim on, we can’t guarantee that 100% of our meats are grass-fed. While we do source organic meats as much as we can, the guarantee we can make 100% of the time is that all our meat is USDA certified for human consumption. We’re working hard to find suppliers that can provide us with the documentation we need to confidently make the grass fed claim 100% of the time as we would never make a claim that we can't backup 100% of the time.
Please let us know if there's ever anything we can do for you!

To bad they ALWAYS use Turkey or Beef as a protein source!
What do u do when yur dogs have a adverse reaction to both of those protein sources.😢 I have tried several times to switch out my protein source like you & a few other renowned holestic & nutritionist pet expert s have suggested...every single time my dogs end up with horrible itching, scratching, licking, rubbing....that my male scratches all fur away from ears, till open wounds form or he ends up sores under his belly or in his pitts. My female ends up w/ yeasty paws & itchy ears, from rubbing & licking😢
Then I spend a small fortune on adored beast products to eliminate the problems. Please...Fish, goat, for those of us who have problematic furkids!! They're bck on they old stand by...pork & fish. "Surf & Turf" I just get concerned about pork as a eveyday protein source. I only buy pork tenderloin & slow cook it, fish is only salmon, cod or flounder.

I was so anticipating the arrival of this food. What a disappointment, my little girl who is in kidney failure wouldn't touch it. My other 2 dogs wouldn't touch it either. When I smelled the food it had a very strong mint smell. I have never heard of dog food having spearmint added to it and I think it was that ingredient that was a big turn off. Why would Raised Right add that to their dog food? Needless to say, they are all sitting in our freezer because I don't know what to do with them. 🫤
