The Marcos Jr Administration had already approved more than 1K power service contracts in just 2 years in its effort to reduce the cost of electricity and stabilise power supply. Some are now online, many others in various stages of development and construction, and most will be finished in 2026-2027.
What is more remarkable is the fact that almost 90% of these power service contracts are in the area of renewables.
