Exclusive Interview with Scott Brown | Broony & Mikael Lustig return to Glasgow for Hyrdo Event! 🍀

Scott Brown’s final game as Celtic captain was on Saturday, May 15, 2021 and now, two years on, the Celtic support will get the chance to say a proper goodbye to our former skipper and spend an evening in the company of both Broony and his friend and fellow Celtic legend, Mikael Lustig, as they take to the stage at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

‘A Night with Scott Brown & Mikael Lustig’ proudly presented by Shaun Ennis, promises to entertain every Celtic supporter as the two fan favourites mark their return to the city with a host of special guests lined up to join them on the night.

And better yet, net proceeds from the event will be donated to Celtic FC Foundation.

Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of Celtic FC Foundation said: “This is set to be an outstanding event, centred around two magnificent characters in our Club’s history in Scott Brown and Mikael Lustig – and I’m excited to see more special guests announced as we approach May 18.

“We are exceptionally grateful to Shaun Ennis, Scott and Mikael for this phenomenal gesture of support to Celtic FC Foundation and it will make a substantial impact on our work as we continue to challenge poverty and promote inclusion, against a cost of living crisis backdrop.

“Thanks also to every supporter who joins us on the night for what is sure to be a fantastic occasion that will live long in the memory.”

Scott Browns name is engrained into Celtics history and in 50 years, he will still be looked back at as one of the best players, captains and all round Celtic men who pulled on the Jersey. I hated him when he played for Hibs, but even then, you could see he was going to go to the very top and I'm so glad he pledged his playing career to Celtic Football Club. Lustig, again will be looked back at in years to come in the same way, he gave his all for the club and lived and breathed what it meant and he was some character and instantly got it, what it meant to play for Celtic and he embraced it to the fullest.

Actually crying watching this . Missed him so much. I was never going to be ready for him to leave...I cried at his testimonial match lol. My favourite player for so long I was lost. Getting to his night at Armadillo was so special. Now I will very much look forward to the Hydro. Doing well at Fleetwood as expected 💪
