After all these years I still feel like a 90s kid on a Saturday morning when I see one of y’all’s reviews pop up on my feed, especially when it’s a brand new model! Love the education, transparency & flat out honesty! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

As a 90's kid, I remember the smell of new sneakers and can relate to Chris when he does that; also, I clearly remember 90s Nike sneakers had better foam and the herring bone traction was omnipresent on all Bball shoes and the compound was softer and comfortable af.

Amazing shoe, bought one pair, definitely add some vertical, helps protecting the foot and the heel, it is stable and has good outdoor endurance. Its actually rewarding you for jumping and moving fast, more power and speed you create it helps you jump higher, you just need to get used to it since it adds like 1.5 inches once you put them on. Walking around in them is like walking on clouds. Really really good shoe, maybe its not for everyone, but for heavier one or two foot jumpers or runners its absolutely amazing. Im 6.4 240 and its amazing. I went up half a size and its perfect after breaking in.

Played in these yesterday. It’s like walking on a bouncy trampoline. Elite cushioning and surprisingly it has stability. Was able to play comfortable defense and shifty offense without feeling like I was tipping over or about to roll my ankle. Idk how Nike did it but they did it. These are way better than the GT Jump 1s and the GT Cut 2s. The only shoe that I think can outperform these are the Jordan 38s

Reminds me of an updated and revised version of the LeBron 17 because of the zoom pods and rear cushion switch from air max to react. Glad to hear the GT Run will return albeit under a new name and to hit all three I’ll just say that the first GT cut should always be in production in its OG form. That shoe was amazing.

Hope to have mine this Friday! At 40, that cushion is very important! Especially when you’re a “short rebounder”.

As a 240 lbs 33 year old, i can appreciate these. Kinda weird to me how Nike sells work, in Canada they weren't member exxlusive, i actually got them last week without a membership.

I love these. They look like a cross between the GT Run, GT Jump, Jordan 34s, and Lebron 19 Lows. Definitely an intriguing shoe. I also think these would be a great fit for OG Annuoby. He's always wearing the LeBron 19 lows. Looks like a shoe for a shifty guard / wing that also plays great defense.

Played in these a few times right now, and I love it.

Cushioning is the softest I’ve tried, so heavier players with foot problems are going to be fine. Lighter players, look elsewhere. You’re not going to maximize the features of this shoe.

The bounce that you get from those zoom pods are amazing too. You will surely jump higher with this shoe.

Running was also better compared to the Jump 1s, but since you’re pretty high off the ground due to that thicc sole/cushion, it’s not better than other low or mid top shoes.

Don't sleep on these, they're 🔥🔥🔥 I've had mine for a couple of weeks and they're really good!! I've got 4 pairs of the GT Jump 1's (that's how much I liked them), but these are next level.

I love how you mentioned those Nike Air Flight Turbulence heel tap! Those are so 96-97 era.Another classic review would be for the Nike Air Zoom Flight Five. Amen brother Chris ;)

Thanks for the review Chris! I'm a guy who prefers midcut shoes, and most "midcut" these days really aren't. Also, I have a bulkier build, so these shoes fit the bill for what I'm looking for. Shoutout for mentioning the Air Flight Turbulence!!! I had those back in the 1997-98.

These might be the sleeper of 2023. For the money and what kind of insane technology your getting its a smart buy. The shoes will adapt to your constant movements and it will predict your muscles tensions from foot foundation all the way to your Achilles. It’s an amazing shoes. Nike zoom technology just got a big update. 💪

I absolutely LOVED the first ones! I have bad grandpa knees and the GTJump1s left my knees with zero aches after long plays.

I have the originals and now the 2s and I prefer the 2s over the originals. The heel feels much better in my opinion.

Air Turbulence= Damon Stoudamire’s!! He’s the player I associate with them the most. I had a pair & LOVED THEM! From a time when Nike Basketball ran things. Thanks for that Chris.

Aesthetically they look massive and overall better from the previous Jump. The quality and the technology of the shoe have been upgraded without sacrificing the performing.
