Another cool trick I discovered thats kind of related to this is to play with the two bottom settings below "preserve" under the warp settings, for example if you select the single forward arrow, instead of the two arrows in opposite direction which is default, then you adjust the number to the right, its similar to a release setting and you can go from longer pad like sounds to staccato sounds that sound really nice for more bouncy sections of the track. Sadly you cant automate these settings, but good for resampling on the fly.
