Just had a hands on with the newly announced Leica SL2-S Reporter. Pictures don't do it justice, this is one very handsome camera.
Performance is still the same but with the aramid fabric wrap I think those that want a great feeling camera in the hands, this could be one to look at.

It's interesting how the Reporter arrived at Leica Singapore so fast. After watching your review of the Reporter, I got mine from Nadia two days later and made a comparison video. You're right about the grip and color, love it so much!!!!

Did not know they will make just 1000 SL2S Reporter until I started researching this camera. Just got the last one available in the US.

You live in Singapore, so do I, no wonder the SL2S was offered at a discount? Clear the old stock & get in the new! What’s the price difference? Worth it? Just wondering! Never fell for the reporter series, stick to my trusted SL2, SL2S, and my various M‘s including the M6, right up to the 10. Of course with appropriate adapters, and when the weather changes the Hassi does the job! 😇

Great video and great shots at the end! I just ordered my SL2-S and need help picking a lens. Typically shoot a 50 lux M, but my dealer was pushing me hard to go 35 instead of 50 with the APO SL…thoughts? If I go with the 35, do I need to pair it with a 75?

Nice video, as always. I have the original SL, but prefer the M series because of the size. The SL works well, though, with M lenses. And I just ordered the new M6....

Yo Bobby, let me ask you. In continuous mode does it stop shooting when its half battery? Did they fix that yet as you know my SL2 at half battery forget about it. I can't see a photojournalist use of these anyway. I am a photojournalist and nobody in the PJ industry would use a Leica let alone a SL2. If you know what I mean ... hahah.

Is it lighter? The greenness and the wrap around it always mention something to do with Kevlar, which is supposed to be lightweight. Is it noticeable?
