AI experts warn technology poses ‘risk of extinction’ l GMA

At least 350 business leaders and public figures sounded the alarm over the serious potential dangers posed by artificial intelligence in a statement released by the Center for AI Safety.

I’ve seen saying this for years! I refuse to use self checkouts but now they are in every store! (I dont support it… I have watched elders and special needs individuals struggle to understand what to do.)

I have been placing comments in AI comment forums about regulations! It is a MUST long term! The government is worried about the wrong things! Leave women & gender alone and worry about this issue! The fact that they don’t see it as an issue tells ME that there should also be an AGE limit amendment in regards to the House & Reps! They are too out of touch to understand what is happening.
What you see AI doing is 10-15 in the making… behind the scenes… it’s 10-15 hrs more advanced than YOU will understand until it’s too late!

The likelihood of extinction increases as technology advances because more advanced weapons can be created. I support increased regulation and safeguards because of this. Now is the time to do it!
