Pa-Pa and I go to pick up 6 State surplus pallets I won in auction! I paid $330 total for all 6 at the public government auction. We bought all the office electronics we could get our hands on, but the auction house was packed with motorcycles, vehicles, cop cars, trucks, you name it! I search these auctions for stuff I can use personally because honestly, you’ll never make a living off of reselling stuff like that. You basically just gave the government more of your hard earned money to clean up their crap.

The money is in automotive, tractors(lawn mowers), and specialized equipment.

I think that post machine is a type of postage stamp machine. It works so you don't have to go to the post office. You weigh the package and it figures out what it costs to ship it and it somehow pays the postage. You just ship from home or office. You never have to make a trip to the p.o. again.

I once bid on a trailer mounted generator, military surplus, online auction.
I won the bid, then was notified that the generator had been sold as part of a package lot before the auction closed.
I was irate, but the small print said they had the right to close the auction or sell the merchandise before the auction was over.
Then they still wanted me to pay the winning bid percentage, I told them to sue me, never heard back, never bid aghain.
