PASSPORT Live - Concert 1978 Debrecen /Hungary

This was the second tour I saw of Passport in Los Angeles. The first time I saw Passport was in 1975 at the Starwood and they kicked ass! I’m a huge Curt Cress fan and he didn’t disappoint that night. His playing was off to charts. To me, that was Passport at their peak. Going back to the second time I saw them, Curt Cress and Lenny White were in the audience for the first show. I actually sat with them during the first set and asked Curt what he was doing in LA. He said he was promoting his band Snowball. I told him I was a big fan of the group and that Defroster kicked ass. He was very gracious. I asked him if he was going to be in town the following evening as I had tickets for both shows and I would bring some albums for him to sign. He said he would be, and true to his word, he signed my Curt Cress album. An awesome player and an awesome human being.

His music is just amazing I just love the album blue did it it still is great 40 years later!

Thanks very much for uploading this rare, widely unknown video. I love Passport now for more than 50 years, and this formation was one of Klaus' best. I'd seen just this exact formation in a three hours long concert in my home town in 1979. Fantastic!

Saw him at The Cellar Door in Georgetown, Curt Cress came home with us and partied til dawn. Priceless!

I love Kevin’s playing although his sound is too thin here compared the albums. But my favourite guitarist was Roy Louis on the album Ataraxia, who played on the original of the opening track in this video and really tore it up.
