Winning Autocross runs from Formula Student Spain 2019
First run is the winning lap, second is faster but with one cone added. Watch till the end.
Formula Student Spain build a lovely track for Autocross Event this year. The chicanes from 2015-2017 were gone and some sweet long aero sections added to the layout. Unfortunately, I tried to trail brake too hard into a left-hand corner and ended with hitting a cone in my second lap. The time set in my first run was still fast enough to win Autocross Event, so I wasn’t too frustrated about my mistake after all.
Stefan from TU Graz Racing was just hundreds of a second behind me like all the Autocross Events this year. Sooo… his excitement about my mistake at the end of the video didn’t pay off :D
