This is a metal cover of an old Greek lullaby that my mother used to sing me when I was a child. The original text was from the Ancient Greek storyteller Aesop(600-564 BC) and has been since translated from Ancient Greek to modern into a folk tale/lullaby

The following Greek lyrics are from the song that my mother used to sing to me. The original Ancient Greek text can be found in the link bellow

English lyrics:

One night a lonely wolf heard a little child crying
He also heard its grandmother scolding and warning him
"If you don't stop your moaning there's the wolf that is walking along
Right this moment I'll call him to come inside and eat you up"

That's what the wolf heard and what he hears he pledges forth
And thus under the door he lies, sitting there and waiting
But some time goes by and the child stops its crying
His grandmother hugs him, pats him softly and whispers

"Don't be scared my little child and if that wolf dares come forth
I'll grab my stick immediately and lay it on his back"
That's what the wolf heard and as he runs away he thinks
"In this country they say one thing and then they do another"
