This week's Block of the week video shows you how you can create Content Templates, using Block Patterns and the WordPress Gutenberg Editor.

Templets adds a new custom post type that allows for creating block patterns. Any new templet post will be registered as a block pattern usable in the block editor.

Using Templets provides an easy way for authors and content creators to create patterns.

Excellent video. I had to do some more looking to see how Content Templates are different than Reusable Blocks because I thought that these things are the same. The more that you understand the differences, the more you are able to edit, cut, and paste between different websites so that you can save TIME!

I like your tutorials. They are well done. I don't know if it is appropriate to ask a question here, but I can't find an answer anywhere else on the web. First, a bit of background. I have several menu items related to books: novels, short stories, etc. Each has its own page. I created a page template with the blocks to hold the information I wanted to display: image, content, etc. I apply that template to a given page, let's say novels in this case. on the right-hand sidebar. But in the left-side editing area, there is nothing in which to place my content. I expected the template block to appear where I could place my data. What am I missing? Do I have to create a separate template for each page even though the basic format is identical with only the content changing?

I am not able to Install this plugin, It's showing the error message "The package could not be installed. The PHP version on your server is 7.2.34, however, the uploaded plugin requires 7.3.
