Jed or “Jedi” as I referred to him was a cool dude who left this mortal coil WAY too soon. Awhile back I sent him a few loops of chain and he handfiled them sqr/sqr for me and also sent me a file to boot ! Never got to meet him in person but did have some good convos with him. Guilty of treason has a go fund me, if you can find it in your heart ❤️ donate to it - he leaves behind a wife and children … God bless y all and Rest In Peace Jedi

Buckin, Thank you so much for mentioning Jed. He was a true student of the game. I'm gutted over his loss too and have carried his memory front and center to the base of ever tree this week. There's so much damage involving firs right now... they're all hazard trees. God bless you and Wendy. Glad you are both safe and on the mend!!

Thanks for mentioning Jed. Ironic it's on a square filing video as well, His square filing knowledge (along with everything else) was incredible and got me into square filing recently. Taken way too soon. Be safe everyone. RIP Jed.

The first video I ever saw on square filing was a colab with Jed Walters and Jacob!
It was such a lovely video with Jacob randomly saying I love you Jed to which Jed replied I love you too man!
RIP Jed you were a true friend to all and a Jedi inspiration for the generations of woodsman to come.

Hey Buckin, I'm just a little older than you. I turned 54 Jan 16 of this year, and I want to say that your videos and Information helped me in so many way's. My wife and I live in the mountains of North Carolina, and we have a wood burner. We've been married for 17 years, and about 15 years ago she bought me a poulan pro 35 cc in hope that I would cut firewood, gave it a try, and needless to say I have been buying wood untill last year. I'm the proud new owner of 4 other saw's, and this year and years to come wont be buying firewood anymore! Thank you brother for all your great input! and as always, Be Kind, and God Bless

We're all feeling Jeds loss because even though we didn't meet him there's a warmth that can be felt even through a video. You have it too Buckin. I pray peace for Jeds family.

I like the tip about putting a little piece of wood between the bar and chain to snug it up. I never thought of that for some reason. Thanks.

Everybody seemed to love Jed and finding out that he had the opportunity for fame but turned to humility increased my respect for him even more. That along with his devotion and love for God is amazing and explains the influence he had on so many. Greatly missed by so many even though most of never got to meet him in-person. Prayers for his family!

Impeccable timing! I dulled a chain just a few hours ago while ripping some black walnut into slabs. Bartered with the slabs to make a donation to the local lion's club for their annual pancake feed. Worked out great
