Your videos are great in terms of aesthetics, straight to the point, and informative. Dope.

I am a crazy man, I will run encore just to ensure the trickroom setter will deactivate trickroom, then activate again, but then... deactivate it.

I am not here for success. And this never worked out for me to win, but it doesn't have to. I get the occasional chuckle out of the people I do this to on ladder.

Love that Brute Bonnet is faster than Amoonguss, so it's worse in Trick Room

This series is super helpful and concise! Love it 😁

That's why even the most ofensive teams need at the very least a slow Pokémon

I find trick room to be very interesting. Like they rely almost entirely on the popular mons being the speedy ones so it may counter them effectively. But a counter can never be more popular than the thing it's countering.

Common Flutter mane movesets include imprison trick room, so basically your team is slow for the rest of the game.

Honestly even without redirection just having something *strong* there is enough of a threat where people will be afraid to double into the TR setter who can probably take a hit sucks when they’ve got taunt though but if necessary a mental herb can just undo that

Wait, using trick room again reverses the effect to make it go back to normal?! I never knew that!

I like the concept of trick room, the issue is Gen 9 made them uninteresting. Quite literally every tr lead is just Indeedee with Armarouge or *maybe* Hatterene with a Torkoal and amoongus in the back. They aren’t teams, they’re Indeedee Armarouge and friends.

my current experience with trick room rn, is like gambling in most matches

my enemies' strats are always:

1. either stalling by flipping with switches, or staying in when i drop my wallbreaker, cuz they think im gonna try to set up, or counter their potential switch

2. they can also stall reliably by using focus sash, sturdy, and/or fake out

My favourite thing is to have one or two slow pokémon on the team to steal the room for my own purposes. Doesn't always work, but the golurk sweeps are fun

My main ladder team in SwSh was Sand Trick. Gigalith is nearly impossible to OHKO with maxed Defenses and hits hard with Body Press. Hatterene was always a pretty reliable TR setter for me with Magic Bounce, Gastrodon to hit on the Special side and eat Water moves, Sand Stream Excadrill to catch opponents expecting full TR off guard and grab an early KO. Fun times

Ah, yes, pivoting around the +1 Glacial Lance after Pelipper got faked out, the strat I like to see the most as a trick room enjoyer

I don’t like using trick room as my main strat but having it around for something that spams tailwind (as would still be faster if I used tailwind too) is a nasty means of speed control

I'm going to be honest, that image of Trickroom with Porygon Z makes me realize I'm disappointed that they didn't make a Future Paradox Porygon

Its not pratical wasteing an item slot but you could also nullify the effects of trick room useing the room service item

I hate trick room teams so much I have a trick room hatterene and a lot of priority moves only to mess up with trick room teams 😅

I didn't know you could switch it back by using it again
