I think the difference is, that a "Les-Paul-o-caster" as you call it, would definitely sound like a compromise. PRS guitars are far away from that, they are not between Fender and Gibson, they are beside the two and represent another great sound character. this Amp doesn't sound like a compromise. It sounds great and in addition to that it looks really cool. In my opinion it fits in the PRS family very well.

Paul, I find it interesting that in your quest to build great guitars, you didn't comprimise. I applaude you for your determination and drive, and your products reflect that spirit. But, I mean you didn't try to build a Les Paul-o-caster right? So why the multi-personality amp? Why not build amps that take the PRS tone that we've come to love, into a place all of its own?

I notice that you have the master pegged through a lot of this video. I know you have the speaker cab remote. Is this still pretty loud (small club) without pegging the master?

In one way, this is a great sounding amp, I hear it and think wow, I can't really just come out and say that's not a good sound. But at the same time, it's so "in-between" that it's just too neutral and "blah" (for lack of a better word) for my tastes.
