I work in a machine shop. A lot of my guys wear them because we stand on concrete floors 8-12 hours a day.

I tried them before but gave them up because they were too hard to put on and take off. Then I developed pain in my left foot so decided to try again. Now I have developed a technique for putting them on and taking them off, and they feel good, and now I am committed to wearing them every day.

My doctor advised me to wear compression stocking/socks when I'm travelling overseas. Glad, I followed her advice. It helps a lot, got no problems.

I usually jog for 1KM (7-8 min) before lifting weights.
Yesterday, I pushed it for 40 minutes, longest, I've ever jogged, skipped weights, this was at 8PM.
Couldnt sleep coz of sore calves and feet, woke up multiple times until midnight, at that point, I put on compression socks and went back to sleep;
First thing my legs felt so much relaxed and sleep was better.
Second, after I woke up, they feel so recovered, at 7AM the next day.
I'm not sure how this worked, but this is so magical...

I bought bright colored compression socks so I would feel good and fun (instead of sickly or old wearing black) with summer sun dresses. They worked great. Time to reorder a fresh new collection of colors for 2021.

I sit at a desk 40-60 hours a week and even though I am very active outside of work, compression socks really help me. After 24 years of this I actually developed what took doctors months to determine was a painful callus. It was located on the bottom of my foot and was very sensitive to touch, let alone walk on. The only recommendation was surgery to correct walk and range of motion. The compression socks healed the painful callus after 2-3 months.

I have a lot of compression socks. It really helps with my ankle pain and it helps keep my legs from getting tired during a long walk. I really like how the socks keep the muscle cramps and spasms at bay.

In high school I had a severe knee injury in football ...a hyper extention. It damaged the valves in my veins behind my knee, which I didn't know at the time nor the doctors.
My knee didn't show any issues after the ligaments healed and I went on to play football in college. 40years later ...my ankle began to swell. Doctors thought that it was a heart condition, so I had xrays, doppler tests and cat-scans, which showed that there was no problem with my heart. Finally a older Dr. comes into the exam room a week later with my medical folder in is hand and he says to me ..."have you ever had a knee injury playing sports?" In a flash it all came back to me and I said.." Yes..is that what this is"?? He said "absolutely". So after further discussions with vascular physicians, it was recommended that the only thing that I could do was to wear "compression socks" all the time and to raise that leg up on a cushion or chair when I'm sitting. All this helps but the swelling is still there...especially in the warmer months. Its gotten worse now that I'm in my '70s. There's no pain ...but I never wear shorts or go to the beach!
Thanks for this video! I'm sure it could speak to other former football players who've had knee injuries if they really think about it.

I wear compression socks when I fly especially long hauls to Hawaii or Guam.
Sometimes wear at work since I am on my feet all day. They are great.

I have Chronic Exertion Compartment Syndrome in all 8 compartments of my calves. I had the surgery in 2013. I have gradually gotten all the pain back...the compression stockings do help. I recently started wearing the footless ones to sleep at night and I notice a big difference in my pain in the morning.. I hate living with this pain, but these do help.

Thanks. I wore them years ago. I had severe pain in both legs. They helped some. I did want to mention that I wore them one night and fell asleep. My legs didn’t feel too good halfway thru the night. I am not an expert but I learned to not put them on too long at a time in the day. My leg pain eventually went away. Years later I am feeling leg pain again so I am once again searching for good compression stockings.

Bob and Brad, there is an easier way to put them on. Roll the top down, turning the sock inside out until you get to the heel pocket. Hold the inside of the heel pocket so it is now at the top. The foot part is still right side out, but the leg part is now inside out hanging over the foot part. Now while still holding the heel pocket, put the foot part on your foot. Then roll the rest of the sock up over your leg. You don't need that contraption which I think they call a donner.

Just went to the doctor yesterday and was told I have venous insufficiency on my right leg. Swelling in my right leg/ankle/foot. nothing serious but I do have pain when first walking and I’m pretty sure it’s cramps because once I sit down or rest for a second. I get back up and can walk perfectly fine. Some days I have pain and one time I had no pain at all for a while. Now I know why and my doctor said wear compression socks for as long as I can and it should eventually go away. I used to be on my feet a lot too. I’m going to try and lose weight as well cause I feel it contributes to this.

I have varicose veins and I have diabetes. I’m also a creative working in a sitting position quite often. I was thrilled when I found compression socks at the $ tree 🌳! Good quality too. Tuesday Morning will carry Gold toe brand every once in a while l so keep your eyes peeled. Compression socks have helped me.
