As the US forges ahead with the evacuation of Afghanistan, President Joe Biden met with Israel's prime minister. President Biden's meeting with Israeli PM Naftali Bennett on Iran and nuclear weapons was supposed to happen on Thursday but was pushed back after the terrorist attacks. In the Oval Office, the president remembered and honored the fallen US service members. Later in the press briefing room, the administration defended its evacuation strategy. At a Pentagon briefing, it was emphasized how dangerous the mission was. Army Major General William D. Taylor, Joint Staff Deputy Director for Regional Operations stated that "In Kabul, commanders on the ground continue to assess the risk and the dynamic situation.... We have seen first hand how dangerous that mission is, but ISIS will not deter us from accomplishing this mission." Meanwhile on Wall Street, there was a moment of silence as the opening bell rung just once. White House Correspondent, Owen Jensen reports.
