Actually saw this while living in Hamburg, Germany. Was busking on the street one day ( playing guitar )
There was a young girl, I would say about six years old and about 300 yards to my right. She was there when i arrived at about 1pm.
At around 4.30 pm, a top of the line Mercedes pulls up and the young girl up and grabs her belongings, The front passenger door opens and she climbs in and it drives away. You could tell the driver was probably her dad by the way he kissed her on the forehead as she closed the door.
I told one of my German friends about it and he said " that's why i never give to beggars. You don't know if their real or not".
