Hey John, I'll just let you know now you've got me beat on the biggest square! LOL! I have never seen one that size before. That would be handy for squaring up work pieces on the mill from the vertical ways. Let me know if you get tired of tripping over it.
That blackberry pudding looked delicious! You are a man of many talents!
Thanks for sharing.

Looks like my grandmother's blackberry steam pudding.  Brings back memories.  I like the multifunction drill motor!
Thanks

Great stuff John!  Here in Oregon, blackberries are practically a nuisance!  They're everywhere this time of year.  Thanks for the outstanding videos!  I've learned much about machining and now about cooking too!

Mmm, blackberries! I haven't had a chance to pick any of those for a few years! Sooo delicious though. The crumble still looks wonderful even being a little dark! I'm jealous!

(Hah! I might have been a little more distracted by the food, rather than the tools!)

Thanks John!

John, thanks for sharing, I can smell your pudding all the way here.
No wait, that must be the one I made ;-)

I never thought of microwaving this, but it works great, nice and even.
No more fiddling about with the oven, and best of all just the one bowl to clean up!

Great video John.
Had to skip the cookery section this week though as I'm on a diet and I'm bloody starving.

John;

Look to see if there are 3 or more steel pins in the square handle.  If yes, you more than likely have a Starrett #20 steel square.  They make them up to 36" size and you could easily have a 20" or 24".

Looking at the pudding made me hungry, so off for some ice cream I go.

Regards;

John, the wood is "Bois D'Arc" or Osage Orange.  Grows wild here in Texas.  Hard as brass!

We call that dish a "Blackberry Cobbler".

The power drill/mixer is a classic touch :)

John, I'll expect to see you in the next series of the Great British Bake Off, I'm sure your own special mixing technique would go down a storm with Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry!

John,
So when will you be mixing pudding with your drill press? Your berry dishes look as good if not better than last week! That is a man-sized square you have there! Thanks for sharing!
Have a good one!
Dave (hungry for blackberries!)
