Almost 40% of all racist incidents occur in public spaces, including on public transport. This video aims to teach bystanders what they can do when they witness racism in a public space.

I do agree with the video but it doesn't point out that people being racist, especially in groups, tend to quite often also be quite daunting and aggressive. Intervening is fine and all but your own personal health also matters so if you're worried that speaking out will get you attacked then try to get a member of staff or police to deal with the problem.

Why waiting for somebody else to stand up for you? I have never relied on people to defend me. Confidence is the key. If you want to wear hijab, own it lime a boss and be proud of your choice. TBH I have never encountered such a behaviour although I go to uni on bus.
