30th Anniversary Mr. Olympia - All Mr. Olympia's on stage

The 30th Anniversary of the Mr. Olympia in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995 featured all the Mr. Olympia winners on the stage that night - Larry Scott (1965-66), Sergio Oliva (1968-69), Arnold Schwarzenegger (1970-75, 1980), Franco Columbu (1976, 1981), Frank Zane (1977-79), Chris Dickerson (1982), Samir Bannout (1983), Lee Haney (1984-91) and Dorian Yates (1992-97).

When I was a kid Mr.Olympia was televised and had a large audience, Arnold was probably the major reason for it's success. Now days teens are more worried about Playstation, Nintendo, And nothing that involves sweating. Bodybuilders are the greatest example of health and fitness on earth today and society frowns on muscles in today's culture. Long live classic bodybuilding!

I still remember my first set of Weider weights when I was 16, they were purple plastic encasing concrete on a thin curl bar in my mom's backyard. I think they were 10-15 lbs each. (Perhaps 20 lbs.). I did curls, upright rows, military presses, overhead extensions everything I could with that thin curl bar in the backyard. I used them so much that eventually the purple plastic broke and the concrete crumbled. I'm now 54 still lifting in my built out garage gym with a full squat cage / rack and am in tremendous shape and in perfect thanks to him. (And Arnold of course.)
