Theorycraft Games | Introducing Project Loki

We’re a new, small, and very independent studio out to make the deepest games in the world—together with you.

Our first game in development, code-named Project Loki, is a group adventure, a competitive sandbox and a highlights factory, all at once. It’s a blend of genres that players have described as “League meets Apex meets Smash.”

I'm all up for new attempts in this genre, all good. One thing I think is fair to mention is that you are not "really independent". You just emphasize that so many times but the reality is that Theorycraft Games is past a Series B which was led by Makers Fund with participation from NEA and a16z. You have investment from the most major corpos in the scene. NetEase, Makersfund, Bitkfraft, a16z, Sisu and GGP. Your cap table is very diluted and you are most definitely going public as investors will exit.
Just keep that in mind and be transparent. This is not "super independent".
Other than that, good luck in the genre!

As a League play i thought it was fun but didn’t think it was my playstyle until 3:22 when he mentioned League and the similarities just clicked for me, this looks like League but honestly just more fun, im not sure if i like how zoomed out the camera is and it’s positioning but that aside i can’t even put into words how excited i am for this game!
I really, REALLY, for many reasons hope that Theorycraft games succeeds and goes a long way.
