AiM GPS05 Module Installation and Configuration

Jeff walks you through installing an AiM GPS05 Module into your MyChron 4 Kart Data Logger, and some of the additional configuration steps you can take to maximize the information you gain by adding a GPS 05 Module into your MyChron 4 system.

The AiM GPS05 Module is the single most important upgrade for your MyChron 4 data logger, and should be the first upgrade. Adding the GPS05 Module to your MyChron 4 transforms the MyChron 4 from a lap timer with temperature display to a full blown data logger capable of delivering track maps and facilitating in-depth analysis of a driver's performance, allowing you to unlock the hidden pace in each lap.

The MyChron 4 will provide you with a lap time. A single number, representing the culmination of your efforts around the track. Dozens of steering inputs, throttle inputs, braking events all boiled down to one number. Adding the AiM GPS05 Module to your MyChron 4 logger allows you to ask, and answer the two most important questions allowing your to uncover hidden pace:

Where - am I gaining time and loosing time?

How - am I gaining and loosing that time?
