CRANBERRY & ORANGE RELISH

I bag of cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 apple-chopped
1 pear- chopped
2 Tablespoons orange zest
2 navel oranges

Put the cranberries, sugar and water in a pot and boil till the cranberries pop. While the cranberries are cooking chop apple and pear and put into a bowl that has water and a splash of lemon to keep the fruit from turning brow. Drain the lemon water off the apples and pears before adding orange juice and zest. When the cranberries have popped add other ingredients and cook till the juice turns to a gel and coats the spoon. Taste test to see if more sugar is needed and add it now, making sure you stir till dissolved. Let cool and put into a bowl and refrigerate till ready to eat. Enjoy and have a Blessed Thanksgiving!

I did my relish different this year. One bag cranberries, 1 cup OJ, 1 cup Sugar and one can Pinepple crushed. It was very good. So many ways to make Cranberry relish, but I love it with oranges!

Pam, as it was cooking down and thickening up, it was looking more and more delicious. When you were finished it looked divine!
