Laura talks about how her involvement with the Army Reserves whilst at University opened up a number of opportunities in her career.

Laura Davies is a remarkable young individual. She is someone who seizes every opportunity and has already worked in a number of exciting positions despite being so early on in her career. After graduating in 2016, she worked on the Bloodhound SSC world land speed record project, an America's cup racing team, Dyson's electric car project and now works at Red Bull F1 as an Aerodynamics Design Engineer. All this despite one of her lecturers at Uni telling her that as a woman she would never succeed in engineering. Laura certainly proved him wrong by being voted one of the Top 100 most influential women in engineering in 2019.
