it’s cool that by entering combinations of 10 magical elements, Magicka 2 lets you discover a crazy number of different spells, and amazingly, all of them wind up being useful at one point or another

I love this game's co op it's fun and chaotic. And all the awesome spells you can do is incredibly fun. :D
But yeah I agree the game ask way too much in a lot of cases. And when you're in a tight spot fighting about 20-40 enemies, and you're by yourself it's hard and too much. Excluding the fact that it ask you to do all this stuff while it's all happening.

You know you can revive your familiar right? It makes it a lot easier when you can whittle enemies down not worrying about dying as long as you can quickly revive.

Levels are littered with Easter eggs and a bevy of unlocks that allow you to customise your character and even cool game changing modifier

The amount of coolness you have is a surprising desideratum and encounters are designed to encourage players to utilise it intelligently

the coolest thing about this game is how there’s a clear logic to how the spell weaving works

cool and through, its relatively short 6-8 hours, Magicka 2’s comedy filled campaign constantly asked you to deepen your understanding of its systems to solve ever more convoluted scenarios

I'd keep the rating but remove solo difficulty from cons, since it's meant to be hard.
And i agree about cheap deaths...if only earth wards would protect you from knockdown/back.
Also, finally someone, who gives 2 a better rating than 1, it's a great game and if they remove a bit of the cheap deaths it'll be a ton better than magicka 1.
