Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. after an inquiry said Ottawa's use of the Emergencies Act was justified amid the "Freedom Convoy."

Years ago, when I got a call for jury duty, after the lunch recess, but before the trial started, the judge said, "Juror Number So and So, you don't know this, but several months ago the defendant saw you across the room in a Tim Horton's. (Who knew if this was even true? in my opinion.) You are excused from jury duty." Any ethical judge with a moral compass would have excused him or herself when asked to serve on this commission, especially, if they had ties with the Liberal party and were related to anyone in question.
