Yesterday evening I sat alone with my wife of 61 years marriage, and held her hand as she gradually passed away. Lying awake in the small hours afterward, on 'Classic FM' I heard this beautiful piece of choral music. Thankyou to those who created and performed it, from my heart.

Lyrics :

Chorus:
Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you.
I have called you by your name;
you are mine.

When you walk through the waters,
I'll be with you;
you will never sink beneath the waves.
When the fire is burning all around you,
you will never be consumed by the flames.
When the fear of loneliness is looming,
then remember I am at your side.
When you dwell in the exile of a stranger,
remember you are precious in my eyes.
You are mine, O my child,
I am your Father,
and I love you with a perfect love.

If I was on my own when I first heard this, I would have Bawled My eyes out. This hit me hard. Thank you. Could I buy a FLAC or WAV recording of this exact performance somewhere please?

Love the countertenor leaning on "afraid". Until now, I was the only one doing that. A little work on diction and a bit less American accent, this almost as good as Voces8. The soprano here has good straight tone like Andrea(V8). Too much vibrato from the soloist, however.
