This makes me think about how I've had 8 separate girlfriends, and none of them stuck with me. My eighth one had real potential, she cared about me, I cared about her, (i don't mean to sound cringy) and it seemed like I had found the right one. Then her brother got in my way, telling me I wasn't good enough for her, and to break it off, (effectively trying to drive a wedge between me and her) so I told him no, and the next day I wake up to find that her account had blocked me on all social media, which was the final straw that broke the camel's back. I had been broken for the last time, and I proceeded to cry my fucking eyes out and stay in bed for the entire day, then I stayed in bed again the next day, and the next, and this kept repeating for about a week until my absolute treasure of a best friend pulled me out of my sadness and helped me cope with the breakup, and now I don't really try to date anyone out of fear of getting left again, or just abandoned like a lovesick puppy. I don't know why I felt the need to vent to strangers on the internet, or in youtube no less, but it's off my chest now and I feel way better after pouring my heart out, and I wish better luck to everyone else who hasn't found the right one for themselves. Trust me - it'll get better, but maybe not for me. ❤️🙏
