Another song using the beautiful country classic, this time the first song written by george harrison with the beatles, curiously the album is also called that
This time for Lennon's part, I used my first rickenbacker 325c58 replica guitar, it had not been on the channel but it will be very useful for these cover videos of with the beatles album

I hope you like it, don't forget to use your headphones and dont forget

Those high chords in the chorus are some of my favourites, this has got to be one of the best early Beatles tracks. Great playing also! You totally nailed the tone.

Totally underrated and absolutely on par with much of the Lennon/McCartney numbers, yet a welcome contrast to those on the album. Sadly missing from the wonderful "Tribute to George Harrison" concert by Clapton and friends.

Very good, but John plays the riffs during the verses, not George.

George Harrison must have been experimenting with surf music when he wrote 'Don't Bother Me'. The chords are rife with pipelines and catching a wave. This definitely qualifies for surf music.

First vocal song written by George. He cowrote the instrumental Cry For A Shadow with John

Very good cover! Didn't John play lead (minus the solo) as a few photos the the Dont Bother Me sessions show the Vox amp channel selector pedal by his feet and him playing the barre chords higher up the neck?

Congrats on the new guitars. The country gent look and sounds awesome! Also the sunsmile looks great! How does it compare to the other rick 325?

Didn’t John play lead on this? You can hear that the solo is double tracked but the lead part continues without the strummed chords behind it. They were still on two-track as far as I know for this record and wouldn’t have had enough tracks to do two passes of the solo as an overdub. As I recall there’s also rehearsal evidence that John would’ve played lead, but I’m not fresh enough on that info to try and cite it

John plays lead minus the solo on this.

I just found out that the Sunsmile has 5 knobs whereas real 325c58s only have 4
