We have such a deep craving for certainty. It is interesting that scientists, who truck in certainty, almost never conclude something with 100 percent certainty. I am developing my inquiry into the practice of sacrificing certainty for the sake of freedom

Very true. But we can be 100% certain that gravity exists as an example. That things fall down if you let them fall down. And while there might be a mathematical chance that tomorrow laws of physics might change and everything will fly around, a mathematical chance by itself if it approaches 0% is not enough evidence to support the claim that there is not 100% certainty due to functionality issues with how we understand the world.

We could never draw any certain conclusion and base upon it if thats the case. Facts would not exist, laws of physics would not exist.

A wise man said, a difference that makes no difference is not a difference. Food for thought
