When getting to know a group of people, much less artists, it is easy to look at these differences as obstacles. By recognizing these obstacles we can overcome them and tell our story. We can share our stories with one another. We can learn from one another, be inspired by one another.

This is where our conversation begins. In December 2013 we were two guys from Louisville that had two tickets to Haiti, a rough schedule of artists with which to meet, and a general idea of what we wanted to do; film and interview a variety of Haitian musicians.

Over the course of an 8 day trip we were able to accomplish this, and then some. By staying in the neighborhoods of these artists and utilizing public and/or available transportation we were able to gain access to previously untold stories, in often overlooked places.
