For many trail situations, clunking your way through the main nasty line is not always the best - be sure to spot any alternative options that may be present and then utilize them to make your ride smoother, easier, and more enjoyable!!! (...and don't be one of those riders that creates a cheat line around the fun trail features/obstacles!!)

Awesome.. I can't wait to get back up there and try that out again. That particular obstacle has spooked me plenty of times and you're spot on with your analogy of envisioning that rock as dirt. By the way, can I send you my hospital bill when that doesn't go so smoothly for me?
