The Edible Weed, Galinsoga

Galinsoga parviflora knocked our socks off this late summer. We had no idea it was edible and are delighted we have so many greens to eat now without doing anything. What a gift to us. :)

Maybe the seed was mixed in with the clover? What a great gift.

I have a question. How native do I go? I live in Munsee Lenape territory, (NJ.) When I first started going native about 3-4 years ago, I bought what I liked from Prairie Moon. So, now I have Blue Salvia and Anise Hyssop. They’re not native to my specific location. Now, I check the range map before buying. I’m wondering what you would do. I’d hate to think I was causing problems, like it an invasive species. Should I remove and replace? Thank you.
