After visiting Clear Vision Rasta Camp in the Blue mountains I'm left with a positive vibration that keeps on giving.
The Priest spoke wisely. I learnt a lot in a short time whilst sharing the day with my rasta friend and all the other rastas.
Big respect and admiration for the Rastafari folk. Welcoming, spiritual, energising and peaceful.

Raised in a small Texas town, just a wide spot in the road, but we had a Baptist church. Folks were baptised in our creek. We were homesteading and life was... simple. I liked the congregation but when i started asking why everyone else doesnt go to church... my mom let me go to other churches. She never gave me an answer, she just let me learn. Ive been to every place of worship. Everything besides a Voodoo ritual and the Church of the Flying Speghetti Monster. Ive been thumped with a bible in a Pentecostal service and i got my cardio and snacks in at the Catholic Church.
The closest thing ive ever felt to anything "Holy" or truly "sacred", from the service to the people in the pews... was a Dub show at the World Beat Center in San Diego.
I watched people slay demons on the dancefloor from sundown to sun up. Analog sound hit my soul. The horns woke me up. The bass moved me. The people were all one. No one looking mean over there shoulder and no temptations, just... one of the most spiritual experiences ive ever had. Love the culture.
