Quad nvg's are rare to see in actual military use. I used a single monocle lense but i have gotten the opportunity to use a dual lense nvg once in my time

I remember using night vision back in boot camp, during feudl training I only used it when on guard, when wer were running around the woods it was actually easier to just have my eyes adjust because of how it messes with your depth perception
