Any ABBA fan knows a real fan directed this video. The angles, poses, camera, facial expressions, everything spot on!

This video is completely inspired by ABBA's videos omg. The direction and cinematography are so good. It's so fashionable!

Once in a while I always come back to this video because it has become one of my favorites ever. Not only is everything beautifully shot and a great tribute to ABBA (the angles, the expressions, the colors), but the reinterpretation of the song is mind blowing. The director really turned a love song into a sorority message and fucking nailed it. To me, this is one of the greatest music videos ever done.

lyrics
Where are those happy days? They seem so hard to find
I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind
Whatever happened to our love? I wish I understood
It used to be so nice, it used to be so good
So when you're near me, darling, can't you hear me? SOS
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me, SOS
When you're gone, how can I even try to go on?
When you're gone, though I try, how can I carry on?
You seem so far away, though you are standing near
You made me feel alive, but something died I fear
I really tried to make it out, I wish I understood
What happened to our love, it used to be so good
So when you're near me, darling, can't you hear me? SOS
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me, SOS
When you're gone, how can I even try to go on?
When you're gone, though I try, how can I carry on?
SOS (SOS)
SOS (SOS)
So when you're near me, darling, can't you hear me? SOS
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me, SOS
When you're gone, how can I even try to go on?
When you're gone, though I try, how can I carry on?
When you're gone, how can I even try to go on?
When you're gone, though I try, how can I carry on?

For the haters: Cher's presence is exactly what a concept video for this song does not need. If she had appeared, it would have been all about Cher. Her absence (and its marvelous ABBA inspired direction) directs the focus to others, particularly women. *Applause* to the creative/tech team and actors involved in this piece. Applause, also to Cher, because, well, it's a new recording from Cher.

The music video is so ABBA! I mean look at those angles, head turns and mouth close-ups

I couldn't control my tears when I noticed this video is about women standing for each other. This is so empowering. Cher is not physically in it, but she's the voice giving strength to all these women. This is so Cher.

It is heartwarmingly sums up the homage of '60s and '70s musical journey - just a perfect rendition and admiration 🌈 Flower power and she pointed out great reflections on it🪞; yezzzza! Love the the presentation to a tee especially the coloratura of her vocal keeps on being alternate with the Abba vibes... and the dynamic of her vocal range herself

Sometimes, art is greater than the sum of its parts. It's cher singing, but it's not about cher really, the song, cher, and the video together are something greater.

These women are saying "Join the club" in the most Confident, Trustworthy, Beautiful way... What a fantastic group to be part of what we see here 😊

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO, I WAS LIKE “WHERE IS CHER?” BUT THEN I KEPT ON WATCHING THE MUSIC VIDEO AND THE VISUAL IS FREAKING STUNNING. I’VE NEVER SEEN THIS KIND OF CINEMATOGRAPHY IN TODAY’S MUSIC VIDEOS.

My gay ass born in a ABBA fan family and of course Cher lover family is still crying. Right now im living far from my family and listening and seeing this videos and the cover songs, remembering all the moments we lived singing all the ABBA discography, just makes me nostalgic and sentimental. Being this video about women supporting women, i remembered my mom, she always supported me in any way she could, i'm gonna called her later... i miss her embrace.

I like that Cher is not in the Video. That shows that she is not trying to present herself, but giving room for the music and the interpretation of the video.

I was almost upset that Cher wasn’t in it, but this video was so stunning it didn’t matter.
