These are easily my favorite parts of this piece! I really don't think I can begin to describe the feeling of pure happiness when I hear this work! I'm truly in tears as I write this comment down at this very Truly magnificent!

Hail to you my Great Lady Fanny! The highest of blessing from God be delivered unto you, most wondrous superlative of composers! You are amongst the greatest of composers that have ever lived and you have indeed left your mark and a great legacy behind on the Romantic Period!

Man merkt der Komposition an, dass in der Familie Mendelsohn die Musik von J.S. Bach gut bekannt war. Übrigens: Schade, dass Kantoreien landauf/landab sich immer an gängiger Musikliteratur probieren u. so schöne Kompositionen wie diesen Lobgesang der Schwester des Felix übersehen. Also: Bravo für die Aufführung!
