Did you know It’s against Florida law to swim near or under a fishing pier? Well, if you're itching to see what its like beneath the planks, join me on another amazing adventure at the 2023 Deerfield Beach Underwater Pier Cleanup featuring fan favorite, live action underwater camera, Spinner The Sea Cam!

It’s a huge opportunity to not only go on a beautiful dive but to also do your part to protect our ocean and marine life from the harmful effects of pollution.

The 976-foot Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier normally open from 6AM to 11PM daily will be closed to fishermen during this event.

In between the columns of the pier are abundant with life! You are likely to see large schools of lookdown, spadefish, barracuda, snook and so much more.

I’m looking for some guidance! I recently started scuba diving last month and am eager to get involved in beach cleanups in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area. I’m hoping to join a volunteer group where I can meet local divers, contribute to community efforts, and dive into environmental conservation.
