@yungtalentbeats - You can't "add" data that wasn't there in the first place via editing or up-sizing. You just make a bigger, lower quality picture.

Again, this footage was NOT shot on a GoPro because they do not sell a camera capable of 1080p at 60fps.

@MrJcm94 You develop a skill for reading the waves, the currents...Usually there's a set of big waves every few minutes or 15, 30 minutes, depends. surfers can feel when the set's coming in so they(we) paddle out further. The first wave's sometimes the best, other times it's the second or third. It's quite easy to figure out but there's always surprises.
But yeah it's about reading the ocean.

This is nothing compared to the waves we had at Pipeline last year. They had to close the beaches and only the pro surfers could surf out there. They had 40-60 foot waves inside of the reef and 60-70 foot waves past the reef.

No GoPro current model supports 1080p at 60 frames per second.

They are either using a non-GoPro camera, or one they don't sell. I'm seeing this on some of their other ads as well. We need a bit of truth in advertising, GoPro.
