So excited, ever since Billy showed it I have been hoping someone would restore it. Glad to know the Pethericks will be involved.

OMG-Sadie, if you glow any harder, you won't need work lights. Love looks good on you. Good luck to you both!
Stan, you have the personality for YouTube. Love you both.

France owes a great deal of gratitude to Youtubers like yourselves who take on momentous projects like the restoration and preservation of its abandoned chateaus! Bravo.

So impressive that people are taking on projects like this to save historic buildings. I’m sure this will take several years and I look forward to seeing each update.

It took me 18 years to renovate a 100yo villa in NZ. This challenge is epic. Hope the super Dad, Yanis etc etc get involved. I look forward to following your journey. Team Sadie and Stan to the rescue of an otherwise ruined, beautiful chateau.

I wondered where Sadie had been! American Architect here. I am from Louisiana near New Orleans and my Mother’s Family is from Paris and the Bordeaux Region from France: Some of my family is Cajun French (French kicked out of Nova Scotia, Canada and sent to Louisiana) and some from France (Paris and Bordeaux directly). I found your brother Michael on “Doing it Ourselves”, during Covid in 2021 on You Tube. That led me to The Pethericks, Chateau Diaries, Sadie in France, Chateau Du Pernon, Life of Ryan, Chateau Love, etc. I am in love with the structure of these lovely homes. Such beautiful structures and to know they were all constructed BY HAND without modern tools amazes me. I am so happy to have seen your new channel! I hope all of your horses are doing well! This new adventure, Chateau De Pannard is so gorgeous and the floor plan is so different than the symmetrical plans seen so often in the other Chateaus. I have enjoyed watching your family, Gwen, and the babies over the years, save these beautiful homes and convents. It is great seeing your Mom and Dad and Yannis and Ryan with you in the video! I will end this by saying I saw the makeshift Ouiji board and saw you cleaning up burned objects in the corner of the entry hall. If you are not a religious person you may not believe in evil and haunting, but if there are strange things going on, I would make haste to visit the local Catholic Church and have the priest bless your home to remove the evil that came through that Ouiji Board and bring in light and love. Everyone should do that to any house! Sage doesn’t work but Holy Water does! Here is wishing you and Stan lots of success in your future endeavors! The house has good bones, and thankfully you still have all that paneling there! Good luck to you!

The Roof was repaired in 1860, so that's probably out of Warranty by now.
