It’s wild that people use to make fun of parents who put “leashes” on their kids but in today’s world you absolutely have to go to drastic measures to keep these kids safe.

ONE OF THESE SAVED MY SON! in 2005 I was traveling abroad in Izmir Turkey. My baby was 2 at that time, we always wore one (different brand same concept) we called ours "bungee" we were shopping down in the old mosque area, we are talking about miles of endless tiny shops. Like an old ottoman mall. We had stopped to get our bearings and Adem dropped my hand and in a flash a woman grabbed him and started running. When the elastic pulled I looked up Adem was screaming and bungee literally ripped him from her grasp when she realized he was attached she kept running. Most terrifying moment of my life! It litterally happened in slow motion in my mind. Start using these as soon as they start walking! We continued wearing bungee until Adem turned 5 but he would sometimes ask for it up until he was around 8, especially when traveling abroad Or airports. But by that time he would but the velcro on me and he would hold the loop side so "he wouldn't lose me" but if he wanted to run around he could. It was one of the most cherished tools to both of us. Bungee litterally saved him from being kidnapped. True Story!

These are also wonderful for adult children taking care of a parent with dementia who wanders off in public! I used it with my father before he left for heaven, and it helped me out when I didn’t have a second pair of eyes on him ♥️ love that you made this video

I need one for my husband with dementia. He’s always lagging behind and I can focus on what I need to do in public because I have to keep checking to see if he’s still with me.

I had something similar way back in the 80s. It did not have a lock, but it helped keep my son and daughter safe.

Try cutting with a scissor just to check if it's good against the possibility of kidnapping in areas full of crowd.

Do not listen to anyone who tries making you feel bad or question yourself. I swear there are sickos everywhere the kids nowadays just aren’t safe the way we were growing up. Take it from me it is horrible loosing your child even for just a few minutes…it happened to me I had a panic attack so bad I’ll never be able to forget I am permanently scarred and the lesson is burned onto my brain for life. Thank god we found my little one in a matter of minutes I died a million times in agony in those moments

Love this! These things aren’t always about keeping a child from running off. It works great to keep a child close to you in a crowded place or prevent someone from snatching them. I’ve seen well behaved 7/8 year olds wear these at amusement parks.

When I went to the beach I used this On my two-year-old, he was the kind of kid that would walk away or possibly run in the street so it was safety of making sure he didn't get hurt or get to far as well as making sure nobody took him. Never needed anything like this on my other two children. A stroller is good and all and I shall have a kid that can get out of the lock or maybe your kid just needs to walk around and get some energy out. I didn't use it much more than at the beach, I think I used it here and there when I went to a bigger place with a lot of people.. These items aren't about locking your kid up Or putting them on a leash, It's a tool used to try and make sure the child is safe and doesn't get kidnapped every. Some kids need it and some don't

I wore a harness and leash as a kid because my mom is legally blind and a single mother of two. It made it easier to keep an eye on us when she couldn't
