In this video we show you START TO FINISH how we wired our ENTIRE DIY Camper Van electrical system in our totally Off-Grid Expedition Truck!

Thanks to Battle Born Batteries and @EXPLORISTlife for coming aboard our dream tiny home on wheels project to provide a massive 24V 540aH Lithium electrical system with Victron Components!

The @EXPLORISTlife wiring kits used through out this video are one of the best things in the DIY Van / Truck building world at the moment. Go to their website, search the solar controller, inverter, or battery bank you are wiring and up comes a kit with the proper wire size, lugs, fuses, heat shrink and more. It comes delivered to you door in a box and ready to be wired! No more searching online for individual wiring components or parts anymore, Nate and Steph have absolutely changed the game!

Paired with 1,310w of roof top solar and alternator charging in the near future we will have unlimited power!

I would have put the cut-off switch next to the bed NOT at the further away point in the van but i found it interesting non the less.

I thought one of the advantages of a 24 volt system is you can use smaller gauge wire, yours looks like a 12 volt install.

you said you fished the 10 guage wire over from the lynx distributor to the mppt 150/45 but the mppt 150/45 wire kit comes with 6 gauge wire so thats where you got me lost?

@the.desertcruiser Are you waiting for the 12v to 24v Victron Smart Buckboost for your alternator charging? I'm wanting the same

well for system you over spend a lot ... looking at prices of battleborn at 2500$ per piece... you could of went for a 48volt system with serverrack batterys at 1500$ 48v100ah ...and you would had needed only 3. that hold more power and expandable to 4 at 20kWh....plus saves some money on the mppts also ...giving up a bit of space and saving a lot of money ...

can you use this exact setup except use a cheaper alternative for batteries like maybe the Renogy 12V 300Ah Core Series Deep Cycle Lithium Battery w/Self-Heating for $1, 069.99 each. those battle born batteries are just way to much your paying like $10, 000 for 4 of them
