I work for Toyota SA, I can tell you, the attention to every little detail of quality is insane, Toyota will sacrifice productivity for quality, and the pursuit of continuous improvement means that they don't just fix problems, they fix the cause of the problem so that it won't happen again, it's really inspiring how much attention they put into the quality of a car, down to the smallest scratch on the paintwork gets fixed and looked into

Toyota and Volvo are hands down the most reliable carbrands on the market, I had an old volvo v70 for 20 years and never had a major issue with it breaking outside of car accidents
